Managing a WildFly-JBoss EAP application server using an App
WildFly and JBoss EAP are well-equipped with a powerful web-based administration console to manage most of the inner-workings of the application server. Ease of administration and usage of the application server is one of it's strategic themes (apart from its blazing fast speed!) with constant improvements.
In this tutorial we will show you another tool that can be used to quickly perform administration tasks when you happen to be on the road. Extending PrimeFaces: AJAX
This is the last of a series of posts (Extending PrimeFaces components is the first one, here the second one) with the purpose of explaining how to use PrimeFaces as an API to create new JSF components. Our main focus in this article is to add AJAX listeners to our components. The component that we are going to analyse together is the Switch from StrazzFaces library: a simple wrapper of one of the Drinks Toolkit widgets, used to manage a boolean value.

Performing cluster maintenance with JBoss-WildFly
Today I have found an interesting question of StackOverFlow asking how to temporarily remove a server node from the cluster so that maintenance is done on the node. Later on, the server node is allowed to return to the cluster and the operations have to be performed without a server restart.

Monitoring a JBoss Domain using JBoss Operations Network
As per definition, in a JBoss AS 7/WildFly Domain there can be at most one Domain Controller, which is in charge to manage the other Host Controllers and the Domain configuration. In this tutorial we will show how to check for the Domain Controller availability using JBoss Operations Network and get a notification in case of failure.

Sharing HTTPSession between Web applications in an EAR
